This book was a disappointment for me. The writing involves a lot of telling and not much showing. Consequently, I didn't feel the emotion of the story at all. The dialogue is stilted and didn’t capture any of the characters’ individuality. The plot concept is intriguing, but it just didn't flow well. The whole thing wound up feeling scattered and contrived.
