Manolo Blahnik

Manolo Blahnik's second published collecction of drawings is ab absolute treasurechest of whimsical, charming, and utterly unique shoes. There may be some which I would never wear (orane, yuck, or just not my style), but I never the less appreciate the artistry behind Blahnik's design aesthetic. My only real criticism is that I would have liked to see the physical manifestations of each drawing, as this would provide some context of the practical aspects of show-making; it's not too terrible to be stuck in a fantastically designed heaven of imagination though!… (mehr)
