Okay I totally expected this book to be one of those just an excuse for some poorly written smut but I was so pleasantly surprised. It wasn't a work of staggering genius but it was such a nicely written story of an older man who falls in love with his daughter's BFF. Everybody is legal so no worries. This is a story of how he felt so lonely and how he kind of slid into loving her as a woman after his daughter left for college and they both missed her. There was an abusive family situation for her. and he had always been a safe place for her. There was adequate attention paid to the fact that he worried about being so much older than her. What she deserved and what the appearances were.… (mehr)
