This book is okay. My main expectation was to read some hard-hitting essays about what Covid is and means for us. What I ended up getting were some somewhat surface-level essays about Covid. This makes sense considering most of the essays were written only a few months into the pandemic/lockdowns, but that doesn't change how I feel about the essays themselves. I liked the essays that enlightened me about pandemics of the past and some of the details about epidemiology and virology. I also enjoyed the back-and-forth between the essays in the Philosophy section. But overall, I didn't feel like I got any interesting takes on Covid that I hadn't already seen.… (mehr)
