This book tells a story of Lisa and her dog Popcorn. The two of them go through an entire day trying to figure out what just isn’t right. The story follows them from they wake up that day, journey through town and go back to bed. Something is different to Lisa, but she can’t quite figure it out. The illustrations in the book allow for the reader to see the whole story and what Lisa is missing. Lisa’s world is filled with tons of crazy things. There are dogs walking people, elevators in playgrounds, upside-down flower pots, and boats driving down streets instead of cars. At home at the end of the day Lisa comes to a conclusion on why she felt something was off all day, her socks didn’t match!
I thought that the book would have been very interesting to children being read this book. There is a lot of participation in finding all the wrong things on each page. All the illustrations are very clever and sophisticated that even a parent would find them funny and enjoyable. In the back of the book there is also an answer key provided identifying all the mistakes in the illustrations. I thought that this book could be enjoyed many, many times.

While the text is not anything original, the pictures are just plain fun. Children and adults will find will be entertained to the last page as they work together to find the mistakes. My son loves to point to silly mistakes from the dog walking the man on a leash to the businessman with no pants.
