Then the trouble starts with the arrival of the errant fiance, scheming stepmother and her disreputable second husband. I gave Marriage of Inconvenience four stars because of the heroine, Marietta Chase. Diane Campbell, created a character that isn't spunky or a wilting flower. Her reaction to her situation is realistic, or as realistic as a fictional character on the road to happy ever after can be. This is good snowy afternoon, hot cup of tea book.… (mehr)
