A look at the career of Jean Peters probably more well known as being married to Howard Hughes. The author did a good job on giving us a view of a very private person from her early years in East Canton, Ohio and studying at Ohio State University. She won a pageant while in college which included a trip to Hollywood and became an actress. Her first film was co-starring with Tyrone Power in Captain from Castile but may be better known for one of the three ladies in Three Coins in the Fountain. She only appeared in 19 films and a few television shows. She was married to Howard Hughes for 14 years but did not spend a lot of time with her. She was married prior to Hughes and after Hughes as well. The author used interviews with Peters as well as her co-stars to provide information.
