I enjoyed this book. I liked the format of 3 different outcomes to an accident. I liked the way most of the characters were developed though not necessarily their personalities. (see the brother and mother.) Each story seemed well thought out.
I think this writer will be one to watch over time. She will only get better.
There were some problems with this book, however. I noticed some POV problems as well as some problems with dialogue. Some of the teen language especially rang false.
I did find the family dynamics interesting, though. Each family has their problem people and these characters are no exception. It was fun to watch what happened with each version of the story.
I recommend it.

First - this was a Smashwords e-book give-away from the author (via librarything.com).
This book initially grabbed me, and I couldn't read fast enough. But it seemed to become, for me, a bit tedious as the story continued: Joanne, Gerry and their great-grandfather's pharmaceutical company, Nightingale. I ended up basically scimming most of the book, continuing to look for the initial, fast pace but didn't quite find it. Overall, a very good story and easy to follow, especially if you like books of the medical thriller nature.… (mehr)

I received this book free from the author through LibraryThing in exchange for an honest review. This book is a work of fiction and I found it very interesting. It gives the reader an inside look at how drug research may take place and all the inside politics involved. It gives a general insight into how the FDA functions with rules and regulations and the hoops a company may have to jump through for approval of a drug. I found it very interesting how unscrupulous some people can be in order to get ahead and how the original founder of the drug company conveniently “forgot” about his partner and his partner’s family as the company developed into a large corporation. This book is well written with excellent and at times playful interactions between the characters. This is one of the better books that I’ve read in the past year.… (mehr)

Christopher blames the driver and them later blames himself for it happening. His father takes him out to see the grave and grieve over the death of Bodger.
