I thought this would be a how to for bringing play into the workplace with activities, ideas, etc. This is more of an examination of top successful individuals and how play has impacted their career choice and passion. Something to be learned here but the idea of asking my employees "how did you like to play as a child" and comparing to the CEOs in this book seems to be allot of work for no guaranter payoff.

An artsy little inspirational/motivational book. This book did not really speak to me. It may be because I am not a "sports" person, or it may be that my childhood did not require me to overcome adversity to follow my dreams. Or it could be that that the author's philosophies and priorities are not the same as mine - which isn't bad, just different.. But it may be just what someone else needs to read at whatever point they are at in their endeavors. Best Wishes.

I find after a while that all these "do what you love!" inspirational books blur into one meaningless message of "go get it! don't let anyone stop you!" but this one stands out because it manages to convey the same message concisely, and the graphic design and layout of the book make it match the playful message of the red rubber ball. If you want a cute little bit of inspiration that you can tuck into your pocket and will smile at over and over, this is exactly the book you need.

A simple concept and seven rules to support it. Read this and be inspired, then do something about it.
