It is difficult to watch an animal die, to try to help and fail. It is still important and also common as children will find wounded animals or care for aging pets.

These children find a beached whale and try and fail to care for it and return it to the ocean.

Three kids were walking from school when they saw a big Whale lying on the shore of the beach. They were doing everything they could to save the whale. Then, they realized they couldn't do it alone, so they called for help. Still, all of the help that came, was not enough. Because of the children's courageous decisions, they were awarded medals.

The whale dies, which is what normally happens to beached whales. Still, a good story.
