WHAT A SNARKY NOVEL THAT KEPT ME LAUGHING! I didn't know weather to pity Danica or slap her for being so stupid and gullible... Quite wealthy, she wanted to write and play her music, and she slipped away from Virginia, her dominating dad, brother who only wanted her to marry a man that she didn't love just to further their political careers, a drove to Nashville where she screwed up and left her roommate steal everything but her purse and guitar. The stupid skank even stole her
clothes, underwear and half the rent. Now, she didn't have money to stay in the apartment, Tara had even walked out with her luggage and her bedroom furniture was missing soo she had to sleep on the lumpy sofa as she had an audition the next day.

I liked Gage Knight the minute that Danica opened her apartment door and he thought that she was Tara. Not believing her identity as Tara had tons of fake ID's handcuffed her to take back to Texas where she would go to jail for skipping on her bail...........

OH GAWD, How I laughed and cried as I hungrily devoured the pages! How can one woman get into SO much trouble!? First no boyfriend and suddenly TWO gorgeous men are fighting over her! Too bad I can't be in Ronni Lane's shoe, and I can't imagine how Ms. Colton can TOP this book! Will her choice be Nash or will it be Cruz?

WOW, what a FANTASTIC novel, and I'll be sure to look for more books from this author! I loved the story and I laughed throughout the novel as Veronica Lane got mixed up in a funny tale, having a one night stand with a stranger in Miami, then losing a job her dream job, to end up in Jamaica shot. and it just gets better and BETTER, and I adored Rolf! If this is just book one, then I can't wait to read book 2!!!

In Mail Order Angel, author Mandy Colton weaves an entertaining romantic tale that follows the quirky romantic trials and tribulations that ensues from the mail-order marriage arrangement between seventeen year old Angel McBride and successful Alaskan businessman Lance Colburn.

Set in the wilderness of Nome, Alaska, Mail Order Angel is an entertaining tale that easily draws the reader into Angel and Lance's story.

Angel had just graduated from high school, and while on a summer backpacking trip through Europe with friends, she receives the devastating news that her parents were killed in an auto accident back home in Boston. In a blink of an eye, Angel's carefree life and youthful innocence is taken away, and as an only child, her parents had set up a trust fund for her, but she won't have access to the funds until she turns twenty-five. Left homeless and without a guardian, Angel's only living relative, Chad Morrow, an uncle who she has never met and lives in Los Angeles, has agreed to take her in. Angel is shocked to discover that Uncle Chad is an owner of a porno studio, and he has plans to put her to work when she turns eighteen in a month, in order to pay for her upkeep. Desperate to escape from her creepy uncle, Angel signs up online to be a mail-order bride, and assumes the identity of Anna Markov from Russia.

Lance is a content bachelor and successful construction contractor from Nome, Alaska. Lance receives the devastating news that his older sister Gail has died from breast cancer, leaving him the sole guardian of her two young children. Gail's husband Dale was killed two years earlier in Afghanistan while serving in the military. Lance knew he couldn't abandon his niece Trixie and nephew Turek, but he wonders how he is going to take care of two young children in the Alaskan wilderness. When classified ads for a nanny doesn't attract anyone suitable, Lance's attorney suggests that he consider the crazy idea of looking for a mail-order bride.

In Mail Order Angel, follow along as two complete strangers make a mail-order arrangement that will change both of their lives, and provide them an unexpected chance at finding true love and happiness.

Mail Order Angel is a delightful story that had a great mixture of humor, romance, drama, and unexpected twists and turns that easily kept me engaged and turning the pages. You can't help but get drawn into Angel and Lance's story as their mail-order marriage arrangement unfolds. As they struggle to keep their relationship platonic while obviously being attracted to each other, Angel and Lance also struggle to overcome loss, deception, crazy misunderstandings, childcare challenges, and the trials and tribulations of being married to a stranger, that will ultimately test the bond of their relationship and chance at finding happiness.

With an engaging cast of characters, witty dialogue, drama, humorous antics and interactions, and a lighthearted romantic storyline that will met your heart, Mail Order Angel is a fun story that will leave you wanting more.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of the book from the author / publisher in exchange for my honest review and participation in a book blast event hosted by Goddess Fish Promotions.

The beginning was a little slow for me and I wasn't sure how I would end up liking this. However, once it picked up I loved it. I thought it was funny and I couldn't put it down until I got to the end. Mandy did a great job keeping the reader intrigued. I would definitely recommend this book for a summer or brag read.

Hilarious. I haven't read the first book in this duo, but I am completely smitten with this book and the author, Mandy Colton. Will definitely be going back to read book would, and begging Colton for another book.

From the start, this read is filled with laugh out loud moments and eye-wateringly funny chapters. It explores what it is like to work for a travel company, well one with serious secret. The background of the author helps create an environment that is perfect and very real. The secret leaves the main character with a position most of us would dream of doing. However, this branch isn't your typical one...at all.

The characters were absolutely perfect for this story. Our main is a lovely person, who clearly starts out because she needs s job, but soon realizes she loves her new position, well, most of the time. She is upbeat, caring, unflinching and strong. I loved reading along as she dealt with things, big or small, even including the office moments. The supporting characters were excellent as well. They really filled out the group, creating a hilarious series of friendly conversations, misunderstandings, good intentions (mostly gone wrong) and playful banter.

This story is very real and believable because of the link to a typical job. However, it is taken that extra bit further by having a very imaginative entrance and link to a job most would kill to be involved in. This blend of real and imagination, creates a hilarious and bkeivrsbkfaddicting read.

I thought the pace was perfect for this style of read, faster due to code, and the need to save the world.

Overall, this was an absolute joy to read. It was funny, enjoyable and rather addicting. I highly recommend it.

**I received this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

I received this book free through LibraryThing in exchange for my review. I tried to like this book. It had so many great reviews, which mostly said how funny it was. With every page, I kept waiting for a laugh but all I could do was roll my eyes. Okay, the heroine is overly gorgeous. Okay, every man hits on her. But, watching her be bad at her job was boring, and seeing yet another man fawn all over her while she feigned outrage was annoying. What made me finally drop the book altogether was the absurd and fairly racist way Jamaicans were portrayed. There was no need to describe Jamaicans as psychotic primitives, intentionally drugging tourists, chasing tourists with machetes to make a sale, corrupt police who demand bribes, and the glorious, mysterious MacGyver (author-described) white man who could make bombs out of nothing to create mayhem and turn a tour of Jamaica into a Benny Hill skit. Honestly, I could only suspend my disbelief for so long, and the smart white man/stupid black man plot pushed me over the edge.

Veronica Lane is losing her job as a travel agent but is soon finding a new one. This time she is also part of a travel agency, albeit a very special one: Some undercover agents are using it as a screen for better chasing down their bad guys.

It doesn't take long and a funny plot with some romance and a few mistaken identities unwinds...

Very easy reading stuff with no real dephths. But maybe that was it making me savouring and devouring it!

Way To Go is a good summer read, a well done chick lit addition to any library. Veronica Lane has had a terrible day. In fact it can probably be called the “Mother of All Days”. Veronica Lane, however, manages to make “lemonade out of lemons”, so to speak. She is an instantly liked character, more than ready to make things happen for herself in a most amusing way. She moves on to a life as a travel guide, and over the next few weeks meanders through several interesting places, meeting mystery men everywhere. The story is an easy read, one that makes a perfect beach read or a read for the time when you just want something light with which to unwind, while learning a bit about the tour guide travel business and one way to cope with what life throws at you. I enjoyed the book from start to finish, and I am sure most readers will also. This is the start of a series about Veronica that will make readers love her and her stories, while they laugh to the point of crying. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great read and/or is looking for something to lighten his/her life. I received this from Library Thing to read and review.

Mandy Colton's Way to Go is a refreshing summer read! “Talk about the mother of all bad days” just starts a cavalcade of mishaps and hilarious adventures. Colton can warm you up with hunky guys and fun, sexy scenes, without a detailed anatomy lesson! Thoroughly enjoyable, her book leads you on a merry chase until the tour guiding business reveals its true purpose. Can’t wait for a new installment of wild escapades with Veronica, her crazy family and a couple hot guys.

A laugh out loud very enjoyable read. The main character reminded me so much of by BFF and the kind of disasters she tends to end up in through no fault of her own. Looking forward to the next one.
