T/FB: 2023 movie #215. 2023. Cooper stars in and directs this fabulous biopick of Leonard Burnstein. He and Mulligan are great here. One of the best films I saw in 2023.

I found this a bit MEH in truth. There's too much swearing - multiple occurances of the F word and I just want to turn off. The story was OK but I didn't really care much about any of the characters. And I wasn't enamoured of the music either. Didn't rock my boat at all.½

I don't care much about these characters, but the music's good, and things keep moving.½

not quite as bad as the Kristofferson/Streisand (what is it about big noses?) attempt, but not quite a viable movie either.
