The premise or idea was interesting and I was quite intrigued by the blurb, but the reality was --- disappointing. There were moments that were good but the disjointed writing and the abrupt jumps were just too much to get past. The added problem of the lack of character and world development just added more issues. It took me three runs at the book to get past page 7 as the intro gave me nothing believable that I could buy into. Such a shame.
