Cyril is a sweet little spider, who likes to create wonderful things with his silk. However, his fellow spiders don't accept him because he is different. The story teaches kids that you can be different and don't have to fit in with your peers. The illustrations are also very colorful and engaging.

This is a cute little story about a creative spider named Cyril who enjoys making things out of webs. The other spiders do not care for the things he makes but prefer to argue who has the longest legs and who can catch the most flies. After making friends with a group of bees, Cyril realizes it is ok to be different and be accepted by those who enjoy the same things that you do. The plot is simple, "be happy with who you are," which is a great lesson for kids of all ages to learn.

There's some excitement and mystery along with repetition of words and sentences in the book which always seems to keep kids entertained.
The underlying message on how you don't need to try and fit in and to always just be yourself is portrayed in a great manner.
I would highly recommend this book for all young readers.… (mehr)
