Dead Moon is a captivating sci-fi story. Aliens, dystopia, the devastation of humanity on the horizon, this has it all. The absurdity and yet absolute believability that even on the edge of extinction the powers-that-be will be pushing for people to go about life like normal and that people will happily do so is astounding. If you're a sci-fi or apocalypse fiction lover, you're going to greatly enjoy this book.

Vile is captivating from the start. The story flowed easily from one part to the next, and the imagery will give you chills. Although this is a bit longer than your typical fantasy story, I promise it is well worth the time to read it cover to cover, and you won't want to put it down for a single minute once you start.

Keith Crawford is Adjunct Professor of Education in the School of Education at Macquarie University, Sydney. This book offers insights into Australian re-evaluations of the history of racial and imperialist attitudes. An illuminating read for anyone studying imperialism and the British Empire during the interwar period.
