Easy gardens for the south von Harvey Cotten
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. If you are a gardener living in the South I highly recommend this book.
worth every penny: If only this book was available 20 years ago when I moved to Florida, the time and money I would have saved would have paid for it multiple times. Finally a book that is specific to our hot sun, pool decks, and frequent showers. After reading this book I re-did my pool enclosure container garden using many plants that I already had and it has never looked better. For example, I never thought of mixing bromeliads with my potted flowers even though I've got many varieties crawling all over the property, as do most of my neighbors. This book is full of practical information and great ideas for a truly stunning garden, thank you Pamela Crawford!… (mehr)
I was looking for a basic book about container gardening, and this fit the bill! I especially like that it advises which vegetables Crawford recommends growing in pots and which she doesn't. Recommend for a gardening "beginner" not for a pro!
