An illustrated reference guide to Asian/Chinese vegetables. A choice of well-known not so-typical Asian vegetables (bell peppers, eggplants etc.) plus several vegs, in particular greens and roots, which are rarely used outside of Asia. Illustrations and text are helpful, although it is hard to identify unknown greens by looking at them, the recipes are useless. Bean curd appears in several varieties and although it is made from soy I wouldn't consider it a vegetable. There are better books out there dealing with Asian vegetables.… (mehr)
