A young boy born blind has accepted his fate as a unsuccessful hunter and provider for his family and people. He’s left behind in his hut with nothing but a seal oil lamp and kiss from his mother. He’s left to die alone while they are gone in the cold and hunger when little mouse people find him and hope is restored.
