Catalogue for the exhibition "Sundog" produced in conjunction with: Nuna (now) as pat of the Icelandic Art Festival Inc. held at "Truck Contemporary Art in Calgary" from April 11 - May 10, 2008.

Artists featured: Asdis Sif Gunnarsdottir, Erling TV. Klingener, Hekla Dogg Jonsdottir, Palli Banine, Ragnar Khartansson and Sirra Sigrun Sigurdardottic.

Looking to the theatre of the commonplace, through a variety of approaches-music, video, drawing, performance, sculpture, photography-these six artists investigate facests of everyday life in their native land within an increasingly global community. Here an interest in narrative structures, as well as ubiquitous objects, materials and other things frm the natural and built environmnents that are perhaps overlooked, serve as points of departure. As such, the works that they create act as gestures that respond to and restage aspects of human experience. In so doing these artists evoke an uncanny and sometimes humorous subtext to our shared and often universal surroundings.
