When Imaen and her mentor, Orn, travel to Fellwater, they find it overrun by wraithlings and are given anything but a warm welcome. The villagers use human sacrifices to try and appease the angry god, as the wraithlings of their loved ones are stranded in the living realm and are unable to pass through the gates to the afterlife.

When Owen dies, Imaen finds herself taking on the challenge alone. Unless she discovers the dark secrets to what is really going on, she won't stand a chance at reopening the gate, and the hearts and lives of those she loves are at stake.

This is an emotional, beautifully written novella of a Priestess' journey to embrace her more spiritual side and find her place in the world. Mists of Blackfen Bog is an enchanting addition to my favorites shelf.… (mehr)
