Adorable toddler-age animal characters celebrate a fun-filled birthday party for Little Crocodile. He is a young crocodile that loves to hear the sounds of all of the activities and things that are happening during his special party. From the sounds of the decorations going up to the sounds of the party goers "ooh, aahing" at the presents Little Crocodile receives, this book has all the sensory engagement through sounds that young babies up through kindergarteners love in stories. This book is a great book to read-aloud and have children repeat the sounds on each page with you! I would use this in my preschool lessons as a speech therapist and a teacher. In my opinion, children love to engage with characters that seem to be around their own age and the toddler-age animals in this story are exactly the perfect characters for preschool children to learn to love. This may be a book that becomes a "read it again" kind of story as parents will most likely be asked to read it several times before a child becomes tired of it.… (mehr)
