I like this book because it provides a very good introduction on the status of digital and especially internet reception. The author lists the charactistics of transmitted shortwave,a nd the merits of web-based audio from the same broadcasters.

There are plenty of tables, including tables of various types of music, sorted by time of day the broadcast is being distributed.

The review of the six major international players in audio broadcast is very good.

For those of us who have grown up in the radio listening hobby, this gives a very good introduction into the evolving web-based audio broadcasting available.… (mehr)
