Had the pleasure to visit this amazing gilded-age home-turned musuem yesterday in Palm Beach, Florida. This fits right into my obsession with the works of Edith Wharton, Louis Auchincloss and the like. I actually got to see in real terms the grand opulence of this style of life. This guide, while a little shy on details i wish i knew, was a quick read and will be a great memory reference for me in the future. Full of beautiful photos beyond anything my phone could take and fascinating descriptions of the rooms covered. Definitely worth the $7.95!
