I had to stop reading this book and I almost never do not finish a story. I made it through the first chapter but the writing relies on monologue and it's overly descriptive with details about everything, every thought and every action no manner how minor. My mind wandered because there wasn't anything that happened in the first chapter except lots of tedious monologue.

Lukas McQuire is the MC and his voice during the first chapter is stilted and immature. Later another barista speaks and his speech is just as artificial. All the dialogue feels forced.

I stuck with the story for one long chapter and it didn't improve, so it's safe to say that the way Starry Skies for my Omega is written doesn't work for me and I rate it at 1 Star.… (mehr)
