Something about this book left me disappointed. It isn't too long, and it's steamy aplenty, but it didn't quite gel. The main reason for my dissatisfaction however, was the opening sequence of a disturbing and gratuitous nature, which - despite the kindness of other reviewers - did not, in fact, offer anything substantial to the later scenes in the story.
A daddy-.dom story. A girl rescued by a man looking for a 'baby girl '. The story is well-executed and the characters are interesting, but the relationship accelerated too quickly for my liking, although a back story was given to justify this. Still, enjoyable.

I liked this story. I liked Duke and Clover. They underestimate each other and other people in their lives. This story was hot, just the way I like them. I liked her sister, Faith, their dad, and Ava, Clover's co-worker. They were good people. I look forward to seeing them again in future stories in this series.… (mehr)
