This book is 20 years old, so the medical information in it may be out of date. I read it for the personal story of the author and her family. Since I have a child with cancer, I like to read books about other people's struggles with the disease. I find it encouraging to read stories of survival, and to get tips on coping with the stress cancer brings to your life.
