beautiful collection of pix and information and my 3 year old son loved it. However, recently there's been a surge in such books on the net, and I wish if each of them offer something unique as well.

Wonderfully written nonfiction children's book about horses. Loved the pictures and interesting facts about the horses.

Horses is a wonderful book for all those young kids who are just learning to love their four legged friends. It is full of beautiful colour pictures and lots of information about everything from what your horse needs its tail for to what he likes to eat. It’s easy to read with simple vocabulary for kids to read on their own. A truly enjoyable book!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I received a copy of Horses. I read through it with my son(who is almost two), and he enjoyed the photos.
I do feel that the author could have done so much more with this book in terms of length and detail. I felt that some of the descriptions were a little vague. Obviously, for a two year old, he's not going to care but any older children might want more information than what this book can provide.
All in all, for a child who is interested in horses and isn't familiar with them, this is a great book to introduce them.… (mehr)
