A girl reads these books, and after she reads them, they burn but...that is not all that happens...(rubs hands together) ...there is more...The books were found in a thrift store with her name on the back page. What will happen when she reads the last book? Wow, didn't see that coming! Interesting, strange, hard to describe...this is one weird book but I liked it.… (mehr)

Genre : Psychological horror, with a hint of the supernatural.

About two years ago everyone on Earth suffered amnesia covering a period of thirteen months. The protagonist lost her parents during that time to an accident she barely survived and tries to deal with her own recovery and her brother's sometime difficult temper. Collecting rare books is their hobby, and one day the two of them come across a series of diaries that seem to have been left just for them to pick up.

The reader probably has enough hints to begin guessing part of what may have happened about half-way through. From then on the atmosphere is that of a slowly encroaching, inescapable nightmare with bursts of action and remembrance. Well-crafted if that's the sort of horror you can enjoy.… (mehr)
