I loved the premise of the story, the characters were unique and the magic beautiful. The cover is eye catching and well done. Unfortunately, I'm not a reader who invests a lot in description, and there was a lot of description. Way too much. I think this book is good, but it would be so much greater with a bit of editing. It was a struggle to follow the writing, and there were a number of inconsistencies and contradictions. There is clearly talent and potential here, but it needs a bit of polishing still.

I would encourage you to read this book for the unique ending, characters, and magic, but be prepared to muscle your way through it.… (mehr)
