By the end of the five page prologue, the author had introduced Templars, an RC Bishop, a boat named Jihad, Egyptians, Neptune's trident Nimrod, demons, and a Knight/buffalo hunter named Redfeather. If that list makes you go huh? you know how I felt going into chapter one. Unfortunately, the story didn't really pick up from there-- not to my knowledge anyway, since I barely made it to the end of chapter one. I know the premise sounds interesting, but if you're still curious about this book I highly recommend seeking out a library copy or online excerpt if at all possible.… (mehr)
