This English translation gives this encyclopedia a special quality -- more direct and yet more other-worldly -- almost more suitable for the "philosophy" it presents.

Many of the items are barely useful for having unecessary ambiguities and opacities. For example, even such simple concepts as Gnosis and Gnosticism are too vague to repeat meaningfully. The Manichaean item makes no sense.
