Alex Danilov is a great character, so I was inclined to love this as much as the previous book. Unfortunately, the plot in this one isn't as good, even on the weird side. If you read and liked "This Dark Paradise", it's worth it to read this one, too. Just be prepared for a bit of disappointment.½
