Diane d'Henri (1902–1997)

Diane d'Henri was the pseudonym of an autobiographer identified in the State Archives Basel-Stadt only as "Marie Louise J.-St." Her first book, Die Frau des geliebten der mutter (The Lady of the Beloved Mother, 1989), caused a sensation with its tale of a young woman whose husband became the lover of her mother. Two years later, she followed it with Wo is meine braut? (Where Is My Bride?, 1991). Amazon in German describes the author as: Born in 1902, the first daughter of an aristocratic Swiss family in Basel, and educated at private schools. Married 1925, three daughters, and divorced after 10 years. Second marriage 1940. Lived in various countries, including Germany, resident in Zurich at the time of her death in 1997.
