*I won a copy of this book via Goodreads Giveaways*

It's hard to put into words how I actually feel about this book. It's not really a story in the traditional sense. It's written like a journal of sorts, each chapter detailing a different event and snippet of Perry's life.

Perry, as a character seems really young and childish. She starts out at 18, just as she's beginning college but at times I felt like she was written like a twelve year old.

The book mainy details her many college party experiences, an on-again-off again relationship with a guy named Ben, where they both cheat on each other multiple times. She struggles to find herself throughout college and her twenties, as the book continues. The many nights of getting too drunk and doing stupid things started to get really old after a while.

I did like the relationship dynamic between her and Ben, at times. But towards the end of the book it comes out that Perry is depressed and having mental health issues. I feel that this could have made the story much more powerful if it had been developed further. But, the way it was presented, it felt glossed over, and there wasn't enough development of Perry's character for me to actually feel for her or the reason behind these struggles.

There was also a spot toward the end of the book where Perry is living with a roomate named Erin, and yet at one point calls her Ali, the name of her old college roomate, so that really threw me off. I don't even know or remember who this Erin person was to her, so the whole New York roomate dynamic was strange in that sense too.

Overall, the story is an easy read, and told in a style that's unique, if not entirely cohesive. If I could use half star ratings I'd give this one 2.5 since it did make me laugh out loud a couple of times.
