J.V. Hilliard

This has been an absolutely captivating series, with an amazing world and unforgettable characters. This installment has once again raised the bar, drawing the reader back into a fantastical world where the stakes are high. Hilliard does an excellent job of drawing you in from the start, weaving in tension and action expertly to keep pulling you through the story, making it hard to set down once you start reading. (Seriously, I flew through this). I love how the storylines of the various characters ultimately weave together, telling an epic tale in a world you’ll be sorry to leave behind once you read the end. The Last Keeper was a great start to an amazing fantasy series filled with humor, adventure, action and treachery! The characters have depth and are easy to like. They are characters you want to know, you want to see what happens and what they will do! And it's told from multiple points of views so you get a great chance to get to know them! The world building is unique and the writing is wonderful! J.V. Hilliard is a great story teller! Overall an addictive and entertaining read! And with the cliffhanger I definitely want to get a hold of the next book!
