I really like the concept of this book: the next generation in the battle of light vs dark. Overall, it was an enjoyable read. The characters could use more depth and development. At times, I was confused as to which character’s point of view I was experiencing at the moment; the POV sometimes switched in the middle of the section with no warning. There were also sections of dialogue that I had trouble tracking which character was speaking.
