DEAR TOMATO is an insightful, inspiring collection of poetry about the food we grow, eat, waste, and celebrate. AND THE CROWD GOES WILD! is a wide-ranging collection of poetry for young readers, organized around themes of sports and games. The volume features eye-catching and often humorous colour illustrations to accompany many of the poems, greatly adding to the reading experience. The collection also has a companion website, CrowdGoesWildPoems.com, where readers can learn more about the poems and their creators.

This volume would make a solid addition to an elementary classroom library or to a language teacher's personal collection. There is much here to amuse and inspire.
