This was a DNF for me. I read half-way through (over 200 pages) and still couldn’t really connect with Muriel, Walter, or Jack. The characters/story seemed to be missing that spark that would make it come alive. Others may disagree, so I would encourage you to read all reviews and decide for yourself.

enjoyed the book, good read.

Angled for Revenge was a bit of a disappointment. The story is about a young woman, Murial Robertson, who owns a farm, and travels across the country on a train, with her mother and her mother’s future fiancee, together with a ‘friend’, with a band of baddies after someone in the group! The plot is a bit wishy washy and didn’t quite manage to grab me. It is the second in a series, and I am not sure I would read the first one, based on this book.
