I'll start off by saying I don't really get the appeal of spanking and discipline, however Amber's Opus is enjoyable on a lot of levels and the very explicit nature of it is only one of them.

The characters Amber Churchill and Mr. Tinsdale may seem familiar at the start; the saucy hot student who thinks she can get what she wants if only she bats her eyelashes prettily, and the teacher who finds himself frustrated with his position in life. What's different is the different facets of the personalities and how they develop throughout the story.

Amber must win him over, wrap him around her little finger to get the grade she so desperately needs. And Mr. Tinsdale, well he just has to enjoy the ride because he knows exactly what she's up to and isn't as clueless as one might expect.

Loved it and will definitely read more books by Jason Jaxx.
