Love and Destiny
Discover the Secret Language of Relationships
by Sharon Jeffers

This 247 page masterpiece has an inspired unique take on relationships that I think everyone can learn from. The author believes that a relationship is a living and breathing entity all it's own, and she has used a deck of playing cards to define each type of partnership and gives so much useful information in the care and feeding of each one.

There are beautiful pictures of each card and even helpful charts that let me know what card was my own birth card and even my planetary card and my soul and spirit card. I enjoyed the spreads because they let me see different relationships in my life from a new vantage point. I believe this book can really help a lot of us to find the way to love. I would recommend this excellent resource to anyone who wants to learn more about partnering in all its glory. This precious find has definitely made it's way into my spiritual toolbox. Thanks Sharon, for this major labor of love.

Love & Light,

Riki Frahmann

What to say about this book? I like any book that is described as a "gift book" in their publisher release blurb. And by like it I mean I don't really like it. This book is visually stunning. The pictures and illustrations are the best part of the book. That's really where the good stuff kind of ends for me.

If someone really was interested in sort of the mystical or spiritual side of dating and wanted to use tarot cards, I don't understand why you would give them this book and not give them a deck of said cards. This book doesn't instruct you how to use the cards. It's just sort of a lot of fluff. When I sat down to look it off, and... eeesh, tried to give it a read through, I just wasn't in the mood for fluff. I don't think I'll ever be in the mood for this book, so back in the closet with the cobwebs you'll go. There are much more interesting books about the psychology behind relationships, and even the sociological aspects of human interaction. But if you like fluff, and consider yourself a "spiritual" and "mystical" person, then this book might just be for you. Not recommended.… (mehr)
