Frankie Johnnie

I have a tough outlining job on my hands for a non-fiction book I'm trying to write. I'm an experienced writer, but laying out an outline for this project is proving difficult because of the many ways different parts of the book interconnect. I thought I'd take a chance on picking up something useful from Frankie Johnnie's book. Unfortunately, I did not find the book to be helpful. It really only covers the basics, and too many of her examples were geared toward writers constructing "self-help" or "how-to" books, vs science, or history, or biography. I rated the book 2 stars as an average between 4 stars - for new writers - and 0 stars - for experienced writers.… (mehr)
