Aisha M. Johnson-Jones

Aisha M. Johnson-Jones is an educator and student of Southern intellectual history and an advocate of untold stories. She is committed to researching archives, producing and developing archivists and staff, and redefining the term "scholar." With a PhD and master's degree in library and information mehr anzeigen studies, Johnson-Jones unveils the history of underrepresented communities through the use of historical documents. She has focused much of her research on literacy development in the African American community and philanthropic efforts to develop public libraries in the South.
