Lawrence Wegeman Jr

This story is historical fiction, taking place between the second World War and the 1970s. It's written in the first person, from the point of view of a cop with mob connections. I enjoyed the writer's style, as far as his voice and conversational tone. However, I found it hard to get into because he had a tendency to switch time periods with no warning and very little clue as to where you were in the story. Wegeman also had a tendency to jump quickly from one scene to the next, often leaving things with an unfinished feel. It was more like watching previews than reading a complete story.
