This book was really great for its time, and although there may be newer medical information available presently, the appeal of the recipes still stands up.

I liked the way that the ingredients with beneficial effects were presented. The health and nutrition information was explained, and a 'mini' table of contents was listed, which would guide you directly to many recipes featuring or including the ingredients.
