I didn't get a chance to read the first two books in the Postcard series and it was noticeable. I would suggest that you read them first (The first book - Seaside Harmony and the second - Sunflower Summer) as apparently, there are many loose threads tied up in this one. While I didn't hate the book, I didn't love it either. I thought it was difficult to lose myself in the story and I did find that I skipped and skimmed quite a bit of the scenery details. I did enjoy the fact that all sisters were middle-aged rather than the typical young and perfect most of today's romance/mystery novels are about. It's nice to know there's life after 30.

Also, I liked how the situation between Sam and Betsy was resolved, and I did like that not everything worked out exactly perfect ~ which made it more realistic. While this wasn't my favorite book, I would still recommend it to someone who enjoys clean, gentle romance, scenic writing, and light mystery.

The third book in this wonderful series, hated it to end!! What a delightful visit with old friends. You feel like you are living there with them. Now I should let you know you can read this without reading the first two, but you would be depriving yourself of a lot of joy, and a great reads.
There are a lot of answers to long asked questions that are revealed here. Some long buried secrets, with the right people put in their paths with answers, not a coincidence, God is with them.
We can picture this beautiful Island thru their eyes, and I loved looking at the surf and flowers. There are mysteries to be solved, and the finding of hidden rooms in and out of the Inn.
The Sister's come to terms with their decision to start new lives together at the Inn, and some struggle. Love the people who appear to be problems, and end up different.
Don't miss this wonderful final visit with these sisters....could we have another book?

The characters are wonderful, the kind of people you would want to be friends. Sam loves to bake and has decided to enter her blackberry cobbler in a contest. She has to outsmart an opponent who plays dirty. Caroline is planning her wedding but definitely isn't a happy bride to be and last but not least, Gracie is struggling financially and may have to sell the Inn they all love.

They have a mystery to solve and there's lots of twists that will keep you interested in this cozy mystery. This is book three and I recommend reading each one. They leave you feeling satisfied!
