Philip Kingsley (1930–2016)

Philip Kingsley was born in Bethnal Green, England on June 4, 1930. He left school at the age of 14 to apprentice at his uncle's hairdressing salon. He also enrolled in a correspondence course at Britain's Institute of Trichologists. He started a hair clinic in London in 1957 and opened another one mehr anzeigen in Manhattan 20 years later. As an authority on healthy hair and scalp, he wrote four books including The Hair Bible: A Complete Guide to Health and Care.
