Jack loves music. He is an old soul with dreams to take his band on tour and become a famous rock star after graduating high school. JJ is rich, obnoxious, drunk most of the time...and lonely. His dad is an epic jerk. He can also sing and joins Jack's band. JJ forms a friendship with Jack and his band mate friends. They are young (17 and 18), but Jack and JJ find their first love in the other. Despite the young age, this book gave me hope that they would be together for a long time and be more of an HEA versus HFN. I was glad to see that there is a book 2 planned, because I would love to see how they do out on the road and as rock stars together.
