Short introduction novella about two teammates on a hockey team who have sex. Not a lot of character development. 2 stars.
This story was confusing. It sounded like Dillon was the homophobic gymnast in the closet. We're given the impression that Max another gymnast is straight and had a girlfriend, and that he isn't gay. Max knows Dillon is in the closet, but we never get the indication that Max is gay. At the end we find out that Max is gay and was also in the closet. But I get the feeling he feels superior to Dillon because he never acted like a homophobe.
So this story was more than a bit confusing for me.
The locker room sex was hot :)

I love hockey and hockey players. Was great to see the struggle of a player who isn't out but I thought the pass made by Fritzy seemed a bit forced. Was a good read overall. Would love to read more of these guys to see where it could go.
I've had this book for ages but only now decided to give it a go. My tbr pile is quite big and I keep reading the more recent books and leaving the older ones behind. This book was not what I was expecting, it made my laugh out loud and I really liked the characters. Once in a while, unexpected, a book will surprise you in the best of ways. This is one of them.
