I really liked this psychic ghost hunting book. It is a husband/wife team where the husband is a PI and the wife is a psychic. The husband's cousin is desperate for the couple to get rid of the ghost is a place in Louisiana. They explained that isn't how it works but he didn't listen but they went down there. What they find is frightening. It is very exciting and filled with ghosts and more. Great ghostly read!

Paranormal and psychic occurrences are happening on a National Guard base in New Orleans. In housing that dates from the Civil War and was refurbished following storm Katarina’s haunting and dark events are happening. More and more people are being affected by the dark, despair and miasma that emanates from this house. Monty and Ellen Drew, a former PI and his psychic wife have been asked to see if they can figure out what is causing disturbance and put an end to it. The key seems to be Captain Beale a WWI soldier.

This is book 2 of the series and my initial sense is that this series should Read-in-Order. There was little background to the story, I felt dropped into a discussion that had been going on for some time. Though I found the different scenario of paranormal events intriguing and different than I have read before. What a twist!… (mehr)
