Meet Einstein gives children information about Einstein's life and inventions in a pictorial way. The book shares scientific details and discoveries and then puts them in perspective for children by showing what they mean in their lives. One thing I enjoyed specifically was the picture glossary on this inside of the cover. It has images of different scientific tools and a written description of what they are/what they are used for. Genre - Picture Book.

This book teaches young children who Albert Einstein was as a scientist. It talks about what a scientist does (studies the earth and sky, animals, plants, and bodies). It also talks about how scientists use questions. It begins to teach Einstein's contributions to the study of light and gravity in a kid friendly way.

I used this book to introduce my students to a real scientist. It was easily accessible and they understood the gist of what Einstein did as a scientist.

Geared for preschoolers but fun for all youngsters, this is a book that introduces a few of the many roles of scientists to kids, including a basic introduction to the subjects that Einstein himself studied -- light and gravity. It shows all sorts of children doing basic science and gives examples of many of the every day things that can be explored. There's even a parents' section at the end that gives some facts about Albert Einstein and lists some questions that one could use to inspire and teach kids.

This book has the cutest endpapers I've ever seen and Garofoli's Einstein is adorable.

Einstein was a wonderfully brilliant man who explained things that all of us are in contact with everyday: light and gravity. These are perfect concepts to teach a young child because while reading about it, they are able to experience it. Meet Einstein puts the concepts and ideas on how to test it together for young minds to try for themselves. The front cover is incredible too; the different "tools of the trade" are placed there as well as an explanation as to what they are used for. This is a great learning tool for any teacher or parent who wants to have a hand in their child's education.

All of the artwork is extremely colorful as well as flattering for the subject matter. They are cute and eye catching. The shapes, colors, and cheeriness will make any child want to pick up a magnifying glass and strive to become the next Einstein!
